A Little Bit of Awesome

We reflect frequently on how our thinking has changed.  Below, Thomas (gr 6) explains how he now responds to ideas:

In the past, I would respond to ideas I did not like by targeting them and making the idea irrelevant by saying things like “There is no way that would work” and “That SUCKS” but while working on this project I have changed.  I now allow myself to question my own thinking and appreciate other’s input and try to expand and build onto my idea, rather than just staying with my own idea.  After we did our activity where we rapidly generated ideas I learned that it is easier to generate ideas than one may think and that your imagination is limitless.  Now that I am working on turning bad ideas into good ones it makes me feel so positive and that there are no bad ideas, only ideas that have both good and bad outcomes.
