I Kid You Not … Said in Grade 6

Students are reaching the end of the first Integrative Thinking challenge.  Today I circulated and asked a few groups to reflect on what they found valuable in the I.T. process and how it is different from Design Thinking.

Said in gr 6:

“Integrative Thinking is much harder than I thought it was going to be.  It was overwhelming at first.  You have to create something out of the tensions.”

“I kind of wish we had done Integrative Thinking first.  It’s more complex and challenging.  You really have to think hard and I liked that you have to resolve the tensions between the two models.  We would have known how to dig in and find more tensions if we had done Integrative Thinking first.  Our solutions to the MRI challenge would have been better.”
